Our MissiOn
The Green Glory Club has always been trying to serve the environment in different ways. We at Green Glory always try to create a sense of consideration for the surroundings and environment.We have laid out certain missions for us and we are trying to achieve it the vetal tekdi is almost barren now with trees been slaughtered so we have planted some trees and we water them everyday, people who want to join in can very well do so at evening 4:30 or morning 7:00 at the small chowk before the road which leads to hanuman temple.
The Club always wants its members to increase so if you are interested please send an email to us and we will send you our membership form.
MORE the people MOre the benefit for the environment.

TraFFic SafeTy Week!!!!!!
The Green Glory Club had initiated in organizing a traffic safety week in the area of panchavati from 20 th april sunday to 27th april Sunday this program was greeted by many famous people such as jayant narlikar, anil bhosale, bindumadhav joshi, mr.patwardhan etc.
The actual program meant giving roses to the ongoing traffic and educating them about driving slowly and cautiously in the vicinity, the program was initiated by the club itself but the senior citizens committee played a vital role in helping us the event ended on 27th april with mr. galinde and mr .khandagale both from the police department as the chief guest.
All's well That end's well so mr. khandagale had a cartoon presentation of traffic rules for the youngsters which they enjoyed a lot.

On saturday the 29th of march Pune city will observe a light off from 8 pm to 9 pm to lower the carbon content proceeding into the air. This is event is brought to us by the pune municipal corporation and also by various NGO's and there will be total darkness in the city .
The Green Glory Club has also decided to take this event up and make it a success so we request each one of you to switch all your lights off and be there for a noble cause.
Thousands of kilowatts will be saved which will be given to us in the hot months of april and may.

Holi Business
The Green Glory Club has requested everyone to play holi with dry colours and with natural colours for protecting the environment.
The Club will try and provide natural colours at subsidised rates which will be provided to those playing holi.
We are short of water and here we waste buckets and buckets of water just for pleasure which is not good, if we discover that the western maharshtra, some of rajasthan still doesn't see water for weeks together we should have some consideration for these people and play holi with dry colours only.
The wet colours of holi also is harmful to the skin and may cause rash,skin cancer etc.
I hope that everyone of you will take thorough note of this and will try to holi with dry colours

The Lamani Scenario
There are 'n' number of cases in and around panchavati about the theft of wood from the vetal tekdi.
The Green Glory club decided to get to the root of this and we found out that logs and logs of wood are taken by a community called as lamani women.
these clever women come for work in our vicinity and cut down trees in their alloted lunch time. After a weeks time they come and take those brances of trees.----------- no one in the whole area of panchavati takes note except some environment friendly people.
A treat every day for the women and ruthless slaughetering of the trees why? because they are poor we show pity towards them.
The gren glory club is often bombarded with badwords of all kinds from the dirty mouths of those rascals and we have to turn a deaf year towards them why? because the husbands are dangerous !!!!!
I ask is the police weak in pune? that we are fearing illiterate people and putting our lives in danger.
It is my earnest request to all of you to please question them about the wood whenever you see them so that they fear that someone is atleast asking 
??

In the materialistic life of man ENVIRONMENT plays a very small role,man is only concerned about money and in his urge of making it forgets his factuality. We at Green glory our trying to remove this, Our very own member who has pursued writing as his career has written
"Only when the last tree is cut,only when the last fish is caught,only when the last animal is killed,only then will mankind realise that it cannot eat money"
The above lines our composed so beautifully that it touched my heart an so this NGO idea came into my mind and Green glory has reached its heights of glory today .
Green glory is comprised of total 20 members which is really a big number but not enough so i request you to send a mesage and we would include you in this work of helping the nature to survive.
People often say what is the use of cleaning roads etc? I always answer back and say that someone has to take the intiative and we have decided so please don't hesitate to join with us for a noble cause.
